Bali Full Day Tour – Ubud Tour Jepun
We start the tour from your hotel and drive to our first stop to see the traditional Barong Dance performance. This classical ballet created to remind Balinese people of the truth that spiritual purity will eventually overcome the evil within our mind. During the show you will see the possessed dancers stab themselves using traditional dagger -the kris but remain unharmed!
From the dance we will go to the Wanara Wana or internationally known as Monkey Forest. In this more than 10 hectares tropical jungle you need to be ready to meet hundreds of monkeys from the Macaca fascicularis species. No need to worry. They are friendly and local guides will be around all the time.
Tour will be continued to the center of Ubud wher you can enjoy walking around the Ubud Art Market and the iconic Ubud Palace across the street.
In Ubud Market you can test your haggling skill with the local shop owners whose collection of souvenirs are to good to be missed. Important thing is, you can start bargaining as low as a quarter of the proposed price. Raise your bid gradually until the best deal reached. It’s fun.
Here you can also have lunch or if you would like to have midday feast somewhere else more scenic we can drive further to the nearby village.
Once the break finished we will continue to the next stop that is Goa Gajah lit. Elephant Cave. This site consisted of a meditation complex with temples (Hindu and Buddhist) and double pools with traditional fountains.
Centuries ago, the King and His loyal followers spent days doing meditation and fasting in order to strengthen their faith and cleanse their spiritual mind from impurities. The meditation site itself built by using natural cavity in the small hill in the area. Inside the cave you will see the relics from earlier Hindu era in Bali. They are all there, preserved by nature for us to witness.
On the way back to your hotel we will have another stop. This time we will spend some time at the Tegenungan Waterfall. This natural beauty is also considered as a family friendly waterfall where you do not need to walk or climb to far to reach it. Also known for its safety, in Tegenungan Waterfall you can also spending time relaxing on the dedicated balcony while enjoying your favorite drinks. Epic!
