How does Seek To Travel works?

We connect Travellers to Private Drivers with Cars. Customers will be able to message drivers before they book their service. Once both parties agree and they would like to proceed, the customer will then pay to Seek To Travel using our secure credit card portal.

Once the payment has been proceeding, we will inform both driver and the customer that the payment has been successful so they can communicate with each other. It’s that simple.

What are some of the requirements to join Seek To Travel?

Every country and state have their own law and regulation. You must ensure that you meet all the legal requirements to drive passengers in your vehicle.

For Australia: You must have booking service provider accreditation or similar that is required by your state.

Drivers must have a valid driver’s license. We will ask you to validate it.

The driver should have valid insurance. In case of an accident, insurance will be driver’s/business’s responsibility for yourself (driver) and all passengers in the car.

Driver must have held the driver’s licence for at least 12 months.

The driver should be at least 18 years old.

Drivers should be able to communicate with customers in English.

Drivers should have access to the Internet and mobile or computer to respond to customer enquiries.

What services can be advertised?

You can advertise Full Day, Half Day, Airport Transfers and your fixed Tours on Seek To Travel.

What are the fees to sign up with Seek To Travel?

There are no joining fees. We charge 20% admin fees only once you successfully book a customer through Seek To Travel. This means you do not pay any amount to Seek To Travel unless customer books a service through Seek To Travel. Admin fees will be used to pay for the credit card transaction, transfer fees and other admin charges, hence you do not pay any extra charges.

When do you get paid?

We release payments to you every Monday of the week after the tour/trip has been completed.

What if customer asks for a refund?

Customers will have to ask for a refund in writing and email you (business) and us (Seek To Travel) for a refund at least 48 hours before the agreed time for a refund.

Can drivers ask for tip?

No, you cannot. However if the customer offers you a tip for your awesome service, you can accept it.

Can drivers ask for extra payments?

No, drivers cannot ask for any extra payments besides what has been agreed with the customer on the Seek To Travel’s private messaging service. However, due to some reason you have to work extra hours you can discuss payment with the customer. The reason can be customers requests you to work extra hours.
